First Exposure Visit of CRM Domestic Non Voice Trainees to Silicon Computers

Don Bosco Tech- Chitradurga arranged an exposure visit to "Silicon Computers" (Data Entry Center, Chitradurga) for CRM Domestic Non-Voice trainees on Monday, November25, 2019. All the trainees were greeted by Mr. Somshekhar (In-charge of Silicon Computers). He explained and showed the data entry forms like Voter ID Card and Ration Cards. Mr. Somshekhar said that data entry is entering data from scanned images or from physical documents, they have the latest software and the expertise to go with it for rapid and accurate data entry.

Silicon Computers takes up the project for Data Entry from State Government & Central Government like Voter Id, Aadhar card, etc. The Employees and Employer will set a target for data entry. The employees are paid on the basis of achieving the target though a minimum payment is already set. The accuracy in understanding the pre-script and putting it down into the electronic text format is very important. The expected accuracy is 95% and the expected typing speed will be 35wpm. All the data entry operations are done basically in Kannada and English.

Mr. Somshekhar offered job opportunities in their center for Don Bosco Tech trainees. Trainees were happy with his offer. Mr. Javeed (BPO Trainer) and trainees of Don Bosco Tech- Chitradurga extended their gratitude to "Silicon Computers" (Data Entry Center, Chitradurga) for the permission and support given by Silicon Computers to make the visit successful with the accomplishment of the objective.

Trainees were very happy with this exposure visit as they learned a lot and saw things in reality which they used to study in textbooks and they are looking forward to work in the BPO sector soon and they were thankful to Don Bosco Tech Chitradurga for organizing the field visit.
