Centenary celebration of the arrival of Salesian Charism

The centenary celebration of the arrival of the Salesian Charism in North East India was celebrated at Don Bosco Technical School Shillong from 27 October to 30 October 2022. With the presence of Rev. Fr. Angel Fernandez Artime SDB Rector Major of the Salesians on Don Bosco, Fr. Arcadius Puwein (Principal of Don Bosco Technical School) Fr. Saji (Director), Bro Firsly Born Jyrwa (Vice Principal) Bro. Barnabas Khriem (Manager) along with the other Guests.

On this Grand Event, Don Bosco team of Shillong center along with the students of Food and Beverage Service – Associate batch 1 were happy to get the opportunity to take part in the service to the guests during the dinner on the 28th Sep 2022 and lunch on the 30th Sept 2022.

The students got to meet the guests and got practical experience in the service like- Meet & Greet, Table Setting, and Buffet Service. Students got the chance to serve over 500 guests who were present at this event under the supervision of Miss Genesis Najiar and Miss Rhiedolcy Diengdoh. It was successful teamwork on the Service on both days that it all ended well.
