On February 8, 2025, Don Bosco Tech-Karunapuram took a significant leap forward in vocational education with the inauguration of its Hospitality Domain – Guest Service Associate. This initiative is more than just a new course; it is a gateway to opportunities, designed to equip individuals with the skills and confidence needed to thrive in the dynamic world of hospitality.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement as aspiring students and faculty gathered for the ceremony. The event began with a symbolic ribbon-cutting, marking the official launch of the program, followed by a thought-provoking keynote address that underscored the importance of industry-specific training in today's competitive job market.

Rev. Sr. Princy Joseph, Director of the Skill Development Center, set the tone for the day with an inspiring speech, highlighting the center’s mission to bridge the skill gap and align training with industry standards. She emphasized the center’s commitment to not only enhancing employability but also fostering a spirit of entrepreneurship.

This new hospitality training program offers a hands-on approach, immersing learners in real-world scenarios to refine their expertise in hotel management, customer service, and business operations.
