The Inaugural function of Accenture Batch 1 was held on March 3, 2020, from 11:00 AM in the Don Bosco Tech Society (Punalur) hall. The inaugural function kick-started with a short prayer mesmerized by the incepted trainees. There was a round counseling of parents with the teachers too, as mandated by the training process. 

Ms. Resana (Trainee) welcomed the gathering with her fabulous speech. Guest, Msgr. Johnson Joseph (Director) lit the lamp and officially unveiled the curtain of the day. Through his speech, he encouraged the trainees to take the training to the heart. Then he, in short, briefed the gathering about the courses, its benefits, and placements, etc. 

Ms. Geethu Angel Bosco (Trainer, Retail Sales) and Ms. Gracy Francis (Trainer, CE & ITES) too explained the training process and placement, one after the other. 

Ms. Gracy started with a brief history of St. John Bosco and later on Don Bosco Tech Society’s skilling and empowering the needy youth. In her speech, she mentioned the number of running centers across India with a special mention to Kerala state. Ms. Gracy, being herself well qualified, underlined the capacity and the quality it’s staff members have. She then explained the core process of training; mobilization, counseling, training, placement, and tracking.

Ms. Geethu talked about Don Bosco Tech (Punalur) center. She mentioned the gathering about the facilities, infrastructure, discipline, staff, and activities. 

As the parents and trainees kept munching snacks and sipping a cup of tea the cultural program kick-started with a solo dance. It was followed by a dual, triple, and group dances by both boys and girls.

The whole day program ended at 3:00 PM with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Geethu. Finally, the entire participants stood up and sang the National Anthem in honor of our nation.
