Sales Associate Trainee visit to Big Bazaar, the first time

Don Bosco Tech Society (Hassan) organized its first exposure visit for the trainees of the Trainee Associate domain on February 17, 2020, to Big Bazar with the able guidance of Fr. Dominic Savio (Center In-charge). Mr. Ranjan (Trainer, Sales Associate) and Ms. Shylaja (Trainer, CE & ITES) along with the trainees visited mega Big Bazaar located in a scenic landscape of Hassan district.

Ms. Suvarna (Crew of Big Bazaar) welcomed the trainees with open arms and informed them of the guidelines of the Big Bazaar. She explained the types of customers and methods to manage them tactfully. One of the tactics the staff must possess, as mentioned, is not to leave the mall without having to buy a product.

For a while, Ms. Suvarna made trainees stand in a circle, enabling all to be able to see all kinds of products & brands line shirts, pants, also different types of fancy dresses, etc. mentioned as a fast-moving product. The trainees asked for an elaborate explanation of the fast-moving goods which she explained convincingly by showing the differences in products of different brands. She also resolved queries related to marketing.

In brief, she gave a piece of extra information about the salary process, store maintenance, and advertisement. She also advised trainees to focus on punctuality, discipline, workplace behaviors, and communication skills, as is the core competence of an employee.

The trainees were delighted as they understood the market and marketing problems and its strategies, methods, perspectives, achievements at Big Bazaar. The visit concluded with an act of gratitude to Ms. Suvarna and the management for their support and assistance to visit a successful one.
