ABT trainee of AIDA visit to Women's Beauty Salon

Don Bosco Tech Society, at its training centers, aims to give its best to the trainees' attainment of knowledge. It was on February 19, 2020, when Asst. Beauty Therapist (ABT) trainees of Assisi Convent (Dimapur) went to Women’s World Beauty Salon (WWBS), which is close to the Holy Cross School (Dimapur). In all 22 trainees went along with Ms. Kupeu Kenye (Trainer, ABT, AIDA). WWBS, as observed by the trainees, is well known for giving services such as threading, pedicure, manicure, head massage, hot oil massage, coloring, spa among other things. They also witnessed salon using various product-brands such as lass, body shop products for skin treatment. Schwarzkopf professional products are also used for hair coloring, perming, and straightening.

While on visit the trainees interacted with Mr. Mathew (Hairdresser) of the salon who explained to them about the types of hair and spa treatments.

The takeaway from the visits is shining bond-ultimate straight, mirror shine, hair spa for detox nourish hydrate, transform the frizzy hair, rebellious to smooth, and repair.

The natural beauty and instant glow facial for skin treatment were some of the key learnings from the salon.

The trainees were impressed to see the set-up of the salon which is perhaps a necessity to attract walk-in customers.
