Don Bosco Tech (Berhampur, Odisha) organized a bonding and stress free day-out.

o maintain the quality at every step of skill training, Don Bosco Tech Society does not leave any stone unturned. The team of Don Bosco Tech Society, Berhampur organized an exposure visit cum study tour on December 12, 2016.  All the trainees of Sales Associate, Electrical and Food & Beverage domains, under the guidance of Mr. Sanatan Dalai (Trainer It, Don Bosco Tech Berhampur), visited Narayani village famous for Narayani temple and Asia largest brackish water lagoon, Chilika Lake.
The main objective for organizing such study tour cum exposure visit is to provide some refreshing time from hectic day schedule and pressure and come back with renewed vigour and energy. The day-out was a great time for every trainees 
Narayani is one of the famous temple situated at the border of Ganjam and Khurda district and is a great place where many tourist’s flocks to offer their prayers and to feel the beauty of nature surrounding the temple. As per the local story and mythology, the deity residing in the shrine is an avatar of Maishamardini Maa Durga who is worshipped by the local tribes in a natural shape inside the cave. Later, an ex-ruler of Khallikore garh, built the present shrine. The green Narayani jungle with its calm and quiet environment attracts quite a large number people to visit the place. During the winter the rush of picnickers to the spot is multiplied.

The enchanting view of Chillika Lake from the top of Bhalleri hill leaves a long lasting impression in the mind of a viewer that is beyond any description. Chilika  lake is recognized as one of the most important wetlands in the world because it is home to a phenomenal variety of birds. It offers visitors a spectacular display of its colourful avian charms in a thousand different hues presented by over 160 species in the peak season between November and February. 

Rajani Nayak (Trainee - Sales Associate domain), one of the participants, said, “The tour had really given a break from the hectic schedules of the training, giving us a refreshing mind to come back to the centre with energy”. Sabita Habada (Trainee - F&B domain) said, "The tour really compress the gap between trainer and trainees". On this context, Harihar Behera (Trainee – Electrical domain) said added, "Sharing some memorable time and building an understanding bond is the important aspect for organizing and participating in such activity”.

At the end Mr. Bishnu Prasad Mallick (Center Co-ordinator, Don Bosco Tech Society, Berhampur ) gave the vote of thanks on behalf of trainers and centre staffs and wished the trainees an energetic come-back to the training.
