If you ask the students entering the workforce, they will complain about the lack of paying jobs. If you ask employers, they will tell you of the lack of skilled employable manpower. This is the basis of the skill gap.

Don Bosco Tech was set up in 2006 with an objective to bridge the skill gap by providing employment-linked, market-driven vocational courses of short duration to the economically and socially marginalized youth. A network of 330+ skill training centres, Don Bosco Tech is arguably the largest spread across 28 states of India.

A wing of Don Bosco Tech Society, to cater to the skilling and empowering needs of the marginalized youth of North East India, Don Bosco Tech (AIDA, Dimapur) inaugurated 32^nd batch in the presence of Mr. Albert Ezung (Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) who said, “No job is big or small as long as we do it dutifully with sincerity. Whatever we do we should do it with dignity; unless we do that society will consider government job as social prestige. So, we need to change our mindset and venture out in life without depending on Government job.”
