I am Dhanya K. from Palakkad. I have studied till SSLC from a nearby school. I belong to a family of five members including my parents and siblings. Due to bad financial condition, I couldnt go for higher studies after SSLC. So I started to go with my mother as a house maid. During that time I got to know about a meeting conducted by Don Bosco Tech Staffs of Palakkad in our Kuthanur Panchayath. We got to know about the DDUGKY Project and the placement given by Don Bosco Tech after the 3 months free course. I felt very happy and the very next day I reached the center and enquired about course details and joined.

After the 3 months course and the OJT period, now I feel very confident and happy about my decision to join Don Bosco Tech Palakkad. I got placed in Hotel Abad Plaza, Kochi. Now I am earning a good salary Rs.6000/- and incentives with free food and accommodation.

I would like to thank the staffs and facilitators of whole Don Bosco Tech family, who helped me to be independent.
