25-year old Edwin Arul Michael belongs to a very poor family. There are four members in his family. His father is a gardener in a private firm and only earning member in the family whose income was not enough for the survival of a normal life for their family. Edwin was confused about his future as he had not completed his higher studies.

When mobilizers were on mobilization, they came to know about Edwin’s family. They went to Edwin’s house and explained about the three months of free skill training courses provided by the Don Bosco Tech (Pune). Edwin seems interested but he could not be able to take any decision at the same time. After a few days, he came to the center and got enrolled for Domestic Data Entry Operator. 

At the beginning of the course, he had no knowledge related to computer. He was very calm and shy but gradually there was a lot of changes took place within him. His grasping power was too good and learned many new things while training.

After his course, he got placement in Verve Global Service located at Koregaon Park in Pune with Rs.9000/- per month as his salary. He also got promoted as a team lead. Now he is happy with his job and learning new things and also supporting his family financially.
