I am Saubhagya Sahu from a village called Khandagadia in Bhadrak District. I belongs to a poor family. My father is a farmer and mother is a housewife. I have one younger sister. My father’s earnings is the only source of income. But this small amount is not sufficient for our family. Because of that I could not continue my studies after passing the HSCE Examination. In HSCE Examination I passed the 2nd division and my aim was to study in a college. The lack of money made me to sit in my home only.

One day our sarapancha (member of panchayat) declared a meeting among the whole wards in our Panchayat. I also attended that programme with my friends and I selected the Assistant Electrician Trade. After some days, I received a call from Don Bosco Tech for joining and they gave me the assurance to provide job after the training. So I joined in the Assistant Electrician trade and completed three months training programme. During the training time I learned the House wiring, Computer, spoken English and soft skills. Now I am getting Rs.6300/- per month.

I am very much thankful to Don Bosco Tech team for giving me the support to develop myself.  My parents are also happy. Now, I am thinking to resolve some of the financial problems in my family.
