Samarendra Sahoo is one of a trainee who joined with a simple objective to give a helping hand to his family. Being an undermatriculate it was not much easy on his part to get a handsome salary which will be a value addition to his family earnings. Accidentally he came across to a mobilization camp organized by the Don Bosco Tech team members of Bonai centre in Sundargarh district under Accenture Project.

Before joining the Don Bosco Tech program, he was struggling to get some opportunity in and around the city. He would have travelled many places to try his luck but could not succeed due to his low qualification.

But Don Bosco Tech gave an opportunity to him. After the counselling he joined in Bonai centre as an Assistant Electrical Trainer. His interest and skills to learn made him different from other trainees. After the training he got placed in M/s OM Sai Electrical located in Balasore district (Odisha) with the salary of Rs.6500 per month. After working there four months, Don Bosco Tech placement assistant team gave him another job with the salary of Rs.10000/- in M/s Bhaskar Steel in Bonai. 

He learnt different topics like money management, time management, decision making, goal setting, perception of value with basic computer knowledge and domain related technical knowledge. The training was really helped to develop his communication skill, attitude and demonstration. 

He says “trainers at Don Bosco Tech and the course includes soft skill and life skill has changed my personality and my carrier which has been helpful to my future. I am very glad to support my family members with my salary and really grateful to Don Bosco Tech for giving me the training”.
