Ranjitha is the third daughter in her family and was very disappointed when she had to discontinue her studies due to financial restrains in her family. Her father is a retired army person who receives only a meager amount of pension with which it can be use only for family’s daily expenditure and basic necessities of the household. She was disheartened to see her friends continuing their studies while she was desperately looking for a job to help her family.

 

One fine day she came to know about DB Tech (Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh) and when she learned about the placement and career opportunities after the completion of the course she was overjoyed. She immediately jumped to grab the opportunity to enroll herself in the Hospitality course at the DB Tech taking her younger sister along with her. This was the first step in her journey towards securing a decent life for her and her family. Her Father was extremely happy with her decision and felt relieved with whatever help Ranjitha was able to contribute in improving the financial position of the family’s.

 

After her course she got her placement in Pizza Hut Delivery at Hyderabad with Rs.9000/- as her salary. Now as she is able to help her family financially she says, “DB Tech has brought happiness into my family, and I am indeed very happy that I am able to do something for my parents who struggled and sacrificed so much for us. I can say that after the training in DB Tech, through the concept of life skills I got a second turn in my life towards bright career. I have empowered the skill of living with self-confidence”.
