"Harnessing IT Skills in Arunachal Pradesh: Web Developer Course Launched in Itanagar,"

Don Bosco Tech, in partnership with LTI Mindtree  and its initiative of ‘Skills for Dignity’, marked a significant milestone in empowering disadvantaged youth with the inauguration of the first batch of the Web Developer course. This momentous event took place at Don Bosco Youth Centre, Itanagar, and was attended by esteemed dignitaries both offline and online.

Offline participants included Fr. Sunny Minj (Centre-in charge), Ms. Mary Jonna Kiro (Domain Trainer), Mr. John Bamang (Mobilizer), Mr. Arun Goba (Support Domain Trainer), and a group of 22 trainees. The online presence was graced by Mr. Amlam Biswas from Mindtree, Mr. Kishor (Regional Manager), Bro. Sunny Joseph (Assistant Director, Don Bosco Tech), Mr. Amos Ekka (State Operations Coordinator), Ms. Esther (State MIS Coordinator), and Ms. Anita Kapuh (State Placement Coordinator).

The program commenced with Mr. Kishor's introduction of the LTI Mindtree representative, Mr. Amlam Biswas, who in his address to the group emphasized the program's importance and encouraged the trainees to approach their training with dedication, aiming for successful employment upon completion.

Mr. Kishor, in his address, extended a warm welcome to the batch. Following the online speeches by Mr. Kishor and Mr. Biswas, the program kicked off with a welcoming address by Mr. John. It was followed by an invocation prayer led by Fr. Sunny, accompanied by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Fr. Sunny, Ms. Mary Jonna, Mr. John, and two student representatives.

Ms. Mary Jonna presented a concise overview of Don Bosco's life, Don Bosco Tech, and perspectives on the Web Developer course offered at the center. Fr. Sunny's in his interaction used the occasion to motivate the young students basing on experiences and realities of life. The event continued with the distribution of training materials and uniforms, ensuring that the trainees are well-equipped for their educational journey.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. John and a memorable photo session, capturing the enthusiasm and promise of the young trainees.

Don Bosco Tech Society is proud to embark on this skill training initiative in Arunachal Pradesh, providing an opportunity for disadvantaged youth to acquire in-demand skills and secure a brighter future.
