Don Bosco Centre, Kanpur: Empowering Youth through Driving Training

Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh – Don Bosco Centre in Kanpur has taken a significant step towards empowering underprivileged youth in the region by launching its inaugural driving training program in partnership with Don Bosco Tech Society This initiative aims to provide valuable skills and opportunities to 40 students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have faced educational challenges and lack the means to support their families.

The collaborative effort seeks to make a tangible difference in the lives of these young individuals and transform their aspirations into reality. The project is made possible through the funding partnership between Don Bosco Tech Society and Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited under the Swabhiman Project, demonstrating their commitment to uplifting marginalized communities.

Don Bosco Centre has set an ambitious goal to reach out to a total of 125 deserving youth this year, offering them opportunities for livelihood and personal growth. In addition to the driving training program, the center is providing essential support through a range of initiatives, including Spoken English courses, Basic Computer training, and individual and group counseling.
