Keya Hazra belongs to a poor family from Kolkata. She always had an interest in Beauty and Wellness segment and wanted to make a career in this field. She did her Assistant Beauty Therapist Course from Don Bosco Tech Nitika.  

After completing the course, she started her first job in a 5 Star Spa named Taj Jiva, under the TAJ Diva Program in Bengaluru as a Spa Therapist, with a salary of Rs.18000 per month. She says, “The best part of the brand is that they teach you the importance of quality over quantity. I have always believed that any experience gained does not go to waste. The spoken English classes and soft skills I learned from Don Bosco Tech added more colors to my current job as I have to interact and deal with high-profile customers. ”

She adds,” My greatest reward has been my customers' valuable feedback and I am very happy to say that after almost seven months, I have learned my profession thoroughly and am a professional Spa Therapist. I feel that success is not only about an increase in salary or position; for me, I would call myself a successful lady as it is a dream come true for me to work with these amazing brands. I have a long way to go, but I can see a level of growth in myself, both in terms of my personality development and my skills, and now there is no looking back. In the past, there were times when two meals a day was a challenge for my family as my father was a daily worker, but now I can proudly say that it is not a challenge because of my earnings. I send my monthly salary to my father, as my daily incentives are enough to meet my expenses.”

I aim to become a Beauty and Wellness Expert and am determined to fulfill my dreams with hard work and dedication.
