The Placement Drive at Don Bosco Skill Mission, hosted by Don Bosco Tech Society in Bangalore on 4th April 2024, was a resounding success, bringing together 249 students and 19 employers under one roof. The event, sponsored by National Career Services and Model Career Centre, provided a platform for students to connect with potential employers across various industries. Out of the 249 students who attended, 67 were shortlisted, and 36 secured job placements, demonstrating the event's effectiveness in facilitating meaningful employment opportunities. Employers such as Q Connect, HRH Next, ICCS, and Allsec were among those present, offering diverse roles that broadened students' career horizons.

Participants appreciated the variety of industries represented, which contributed to an educational experience beyond just job placement. However, some feedback indicated a need for more IT job roles, highlighting an area for future improvement. The event’s success was marked not only by the number of job placements but also by the valuable exposure students received to different career paths and industries. The drive’s overall positive outcome underscores the importance of such events in helping students navigate their career journeys while also pointing out opportunities for enhancement. Future job fairs will aim to address the gaps identified in participant feedback, ensuring a more comprehensive representation of job roles and further improving the experience for both students and employers.
