Mr. Devi Prasad Mahapatra

Being the custodian of the Don Bosco Tech’s brand promise, brand vision, brand position and brand architecture, Devi Prasad always made an effort to conceptualize, develop and production high standard collaterals which stand out our organisation’s image in the development sector. While meeting the demands of all departments, operations and stakeholders, Mr Mahapatra always ensure consistency in branding initiatives with respect to common themes - core brand values/identity. He is communications professional with over 14 years of experience in media organizations, corporate houses and social organisations. Mr. Mahapatra is ‘Head - Communications’ at Don Bosco Tech Society. Prior to joining the Don Bosco Tech, he had worked for over four years as a Deputy Manager in Dr. Reddy’s Foundation and five years as a ‘Publicity Coordinator’ in ETV Network (Publicity) at Ramoji Film City. Mr Mahapatra has both Masters and Bachelors degrees in Journalism and Mass Communication from Berhampur University. He also has a B.Sc. (Honours) degree in Physics, as well as an Honours Diploma in Systems Management. He attended a management development program on Project Management for Development Organisations in IRMA (Anand) and social media marketing programs from Digital Vidya (Delhi). He authored several Research papers that include Cable Advertising, Rural India: Advertiser’s El Dorado, Anivertising: Creating Positive Brand Image, Enhancing Brand Equity with Star Power, Non-profit Brand: Creating Social Equity for Corporates, Cause Related Marketing: A Powerful Marketing Edge, FDI in Print Media, etc. A conscientious social thinker, he has authored several web articles on topics of contemporary concern in Orissa including the Orissa RTI Act, News boom vs. Channel boom, Sarva Siksha Abhiyan, Community Leaders, Youth Unemployment, Labour Migration, Railway Budget, IT Scenario, Mainstreaming tribal youth, etc.
