The Don Bosco Skill Mission in Bangalore hosted a comprehensive three-day Training of Trainers (TOT) program, from October 11 to October 13, 2023. This program was organized with the objective of equipping trainers with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively deliver training using the Wadhwani Foundation's innovative methodology.

Day 1: October 11, 2023

The program commenced with a warm welcome from Fr. George Nobel, the Director of Don Bosco Skill Mission, and Mrs. Niveditha, the Regional Manager of Don Bosco Tech Society. The training was led by a proficient team from the Wadhwani Foundation, including Ms. Swathi Puthran, Mr. Vinay, Mrs. Saudhamini, Mrs. Lilly Kulkarni, and Ms. Nithya.

The day began with the formation of seven teams representing different states—Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Jharkhand—setting the stage for an engaging learning experience. An icebreaking session helped participants connect and ease into the training environment.

Mr. Vinay introduced the Wadhwani Foundation, detailing its mission and the vision of its founder. This was followed by an in-depth session led by Ms. Swathi Puthran, the master trainer, who guided participants through the intricacies of the Learning Management System (LMS) platform. The day was packed with various interactive activities, culminating in an engaging Quiz 1.

Day 2: October 12, 2023

Day 2 opened with a recap of the previous day's sessions, ensuring that participants were well-prepared for the new content. The trainers elaborated on the Wadhwani Foundation's teaching methodology, and selected participants from different groups were invited to demonstrate effective communication skills as part of their training techniques. The day was interspersed with activities designed to reinforce the concepts learned, concluding with a thought-provoking Quiz 2.

Day 3: October 13, 2023

The final day of the program began with an icebreaking activity that set a positive tone for the day's learning. The primary focus was on educating trainers on effectively utilizing the Wadhwani Foundation's LMS from a faculty perspective. The trainers conducted detailed discussions on various LMS features and tools, including batch creation, student enrollment, and assessment management.

The training concluded with Quiz 3, testing the participants' grasp of the concepts covered over the three days. The event ended on a high note with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Mrs. Manogna, representing the HR department, followed by a celebratory photo session.

The TOT program at Don Bosco Skill Mission, facilitated by the Wadhwani Foundation, was a resounding success. Participants left with valuable skills and knowledge, poised to enhance the quality of training offered at Don Bosco Skill Mission.
