Shabaaz hails from Kakaname Village in Hassan. His father is an Agriculturist and Mother and brother are both Cooly workers. The condition of the family became pathetic when his father lost his leg in a road accident.

“After completing PUC, I could not study further because of financial problem and to find a solution for the same I was searching for a job, but could not succeed to get it. One such day, I got to know about DB Tech Three month training program being called as BASE. DB Tech has launched this program for the poor youth in partnership with MoRD.  He decided to join the course with the hope to learn English, Computer and Automobile. Before joining the program I used to be scared of public speaking. But after I joined DB Tech, I have learnt speaking in English, how to operate computer and the basic knowledge of the Automobile. The Life Skill classes helped me come forward and take initiatives. Now I feel confident enough to handle any sort of work” – Says Shabaaz. “I am grateful to DB Tech, Hassan, its Director, its Principal and all the Trainers. They have taught me the lessons for life, besides teaching they have motivated me and allowed me to overcome all my problems” says Shabaaz.

After the training, Shabaaz has been selected as Technician by Tata Yazuki, Bangalore on a salary of Rs. 5400/- per month. He articulated is happiness saying “I feel proud to be the supporting member of the family; this has only been made possible by DB Tech”.

The HR Manager at Tata Yazuki says about Shabaaz that “he is a hard working boy who is very much committed and focused towards his work. He believes in finishing his work on time. We are very proud to have such an employee in our company”. His parents say proudly “We are very proud to have a son like him, DB Tech has not only changed his life but has saved the entire family by making him capable enough to look after the family. Our misery has finally come to an end. We would like to thank all the trainers at DB Tech, Hassan for this”.

At last Shabaaz expressed his will to support the society “I want to help the unemployed youths in the society, and I will do that by informing them about the DB Tech project that has been implemented for youth especially”.
