Devi Prasad Mishra, a 21-year-old from Putibandh village in Sambalpur, Odisha, comes from a humble background. His father is a daily wage laborer, and his mother is a homemaker. Devi Prasad worked hard to complete his 12th grade. Although he aspired to pursue higher education, financial limitations stood in his way.

One day, he learned about Don Bosco Tech Society and its skill development programs during a mobilization activity conducted in his village. Motivated by the opportunity, he visited the Don Bosco Tech Sambalpur center with his documents and enrolled in the Graphic Designer course under the 6th batch of the Skills to Succeed program. During the 82-day training, he was regular, enthusiastic, and eager to gain knowledge, quickly becoming known for his cheerful and approachable nature in class.

After completing the training, Devi Prasad was placed at Stamp House, Odisha, on 22nd March 2025. He is now happy and proud to support his family financially. His colleagues appreciate his sincerity, kindness, hard work, and punctuality. His family acknowledges the positive impact he has made on their financial condition and overall morale.

With dreams of working in a reputed organization in a higher position and pursuing further studies, Devi Prasad has gained the confidence and courage he once lacked. He feels transformed and motivated to grow personally and professionally.

He expresses heartfelt gratitude to Don Bosco Tech Society for giving him the chance to upskill and secure employment. He encourages other underprivileged youth to take advantage of such short-term training programs, which can bring meaningful change and happiness to their lives.
