Sonu Prajapati, a 22-year-old resident of Bhupod village in the Ashta block of Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh, has achieved remarkable professional success. Despite being born and raised in a small village with limited opportunities, Sonu’s determination and perseverance paved the way for a brighter future.

Coming from a humble background, Sonu’s father, Mr. Jagdeesh Prajapati, works as a farmer, while his mother, Mrs. Sugan Bai, is a housewife. In the face of family pressure, Sonu got married at the age of 21 but remained committed to pursuing his education. To support his studies and contribute to his family’s financial well-being, he took up a part-time position at Alfa Lab in Ashta, where he assisted lab technicians.

It was through his friend Chandar, who had previously undergone training at the Don Bosco Tech skill training center in Ashta, that Sonu became aware of the opportunities that they offered. Intrigued, he decided to visit the center and learn more. Sonu shared his struggles of juggling his studies, part-time job, and family responsibilities, expressing his desire for a sustainable and promising career opportunity.

Understanding his situation, Sonu was enrolled in the Office Assistant job role at Don Bosco Tech. He proved to be a disciplined and dedicated student, attending classes regularly while simultaneously fulfilling his work commitments. Upon completing his month-long training, Sonu secured a position at Grassroots Company in Bangalore, where he now earns a monthly salary of Rs. 13,000/-. This achievement has not only allowed him to support his family financially but has also provided him with the means to continue his education.
