Neikhoting comes from a family that has a poor economic status; it is sad to hear but this one statement forced her to give up her studies. She left her studies after completing her 12th standard. Being a college dropout and sitting idle at home she was unable to find a way to go ahead in life. She had lost all her hopes regarding her career and future. It was during this miserable period that she came to know about BASE Training provided by Don Bosco Tech through her friends. The moment she heard about assured assistance in Job placement, she got really motivated to join the training.

Without giving a second thought, she joined the training programme with the hope of getting excellent job. The training programme helped her develop her personality and Communi cation Skills. Through the interest inventory test she gave, it was examined that she has a very pleasing nature and thus fits well for the Hospitality Domain.
The training curriculum, encouragement and guidance provided by the trainers, together with Industrial Exposures and Mock Interview training helped her grow easily. She learned up the things very quickly and developed herself learning all the skills required for a perfect job. Her trainers were of the view that during her training, she was very regular, hard working and a sincere trainee. The moment she completed her training, she attended a job interview and performed really well. She got the job as a receptionist at Soothe Lodge and Kauff Restro at Super Market in Dimapur. Though, initially she was not satisfied with her salary but now she is extremely happy at being paid very well. She is earning the monthly salary of Rs.3500.
When asked how she fe els today, she said that Don Bosco Tech has taught her the ways of life and has also showed ways for her brighter future. She feels proud at receiving training from Don Bosco Tech; today, she can call herself an independent girl. Even her parents are delighted with her achievement, and don’t mind shouting that they are proud of their divine daughter, with her income she is not only happily managing her own expenditure but also looking after the family needs well.
